This 45 ACP +P round features the 230 grain Gold Dot G2 projectile. Like the original Gold Dot, this jacketed hollow point’s core and jacket are electrochemically fused together, so they are virtually inseparable from one another to deliver superior weight retention. The G2’s nose cavity is filled with pliant elastomer, which pressure created during penetration forces down into underlying internal fissures. This splits the pressure formed core and jacket apart, producing a mushroom that creates a simply devastating wound cavity.

This round’s balanced bullet, top quality Boxer primer, and consistent propellant charge all contribute to its superior accuracy. It further offers a nickel plated brass casing, which lessens friction during cycling to optimize a weapon’s functionality. Please take note that this is a +P cartridge, and will likely damage a weapon that isn’t designed to accommodate its robust chamber pressure.
