20rds - 308 Win Right to Bear Expanding Subsonic 170gr. Lehigh Controlled Fracturing HP Ammo Details

This is 308 Win Right to Bear Expanding Subsonic 170gr. Lehigh Controlled Fracturing Hollow Point Ammo. Right to Bear has introduced this round to give those hunters who use a suppressor an extremely effective round that still expands and fractures at subsonic velocities. Lehigh projectiles are well known for their large diameter expansion along with the excellent weight retention properties of a copper projectile. A .17 caliber bullet sits in the middle of the hollow point cavity and assists in expansion upon impact, acting in much the same way as the tip in a polymer tip projectile. These rounds are excellent for bolt gun and other single shot applications, as these rounds will not cycle a semi-auto firearm. The copper bullet, upon expansion, peels back in 3 long petals, which then break off onto seperate trajectories. This leaves a solid wadcutter shaped base, which continues on its own, increasing penetration and effect on bones or other hard areas such as the thick shoulder plates of a wild hog. These capabilities makes these rounds one of the best hunting rounds available for use with a suppressor. This ammo is brass cased, boxer primed, non magnetic and non corrosive. This ammo comes packaged 20rds to a box. Muzzle Velocity: 980 FPS.
