20rds – 308 Win Browning Silver Series 180gr. SP Ammo

Browning 180 Grain Soft-Point (SP) Ammo Details

Rhodium, platinum and gold are all so last week. If you’re a 308 Win appreciator and want to put big deer in your sights, then it’s time to invest in silver – Browning Silver Series, to be more precise, which is loaded with heavy, high-momentum bullets that hit hard and penetrate deeply!

This round’s 180 grain soft point doesn’t contain any silver, if we’re being honest. Its copper-alloy jacket is precision-plated with a wafer-thin layer of nickel for enhanced cosmetics, and its core is made of solid lead. But the soft point doesn’t need any precious metals in order to deliver highly injurious terminal expansion – a notched jacket and malleable lead tip do the job perfectly enough on their own.

Once it reaches its advertised muzzle velocity of 2,620 fps, the bullet’s 0.382 G1 ballistic coefficient will keep it supersonic until approximately 860 yards. Plan on dumping at least 1,000 ft lbs of energy into your trophy at any range shorter than 510 yards. Each round sports Browning’s own headstamped reloadable brass case, as well as a sensitive primer that won’t let you down during the magic moment.
