This is .30-06 Remington 180gr. Core-Lokt Soft Point Ammo. The Spitzer shaped profile is for improved velocity and flatter trajectory. The bullet cores are mechanically locked in place to provide deep penetration. This jacket is designed for progressive, reliable expansion to almost twice the original diameter. This 180gr. Core-Lokt Soft Point has a muzzle velocity of 2700 fps. and 2913 ft. lbs. of energy. This ammo is packed in 20rd. boxes.

Bought 3 boxes of this and tried it in a Winchester model 70 and Tikka t3. Over half the primers failed to ignite even after a second strike.

Recently hunted in Texas with this ammo. Works good on Boar, Sheep and Bison. Perfect mushroom on bullets recovered. This ammo puts meat in the freezer and trophies on the wall.

I have used this ammo for over 30 years. Core-Lokt is the original expanding hunting bullet. This works great in my Remington Model 740 Woodsmaster. It hits like the Hammer of Thor!
