Winchester Ammunition 147 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details
Founded in 1866, Winchester is one of the most respected and recognized names in the shooting world. Today, Winchester continues to produce innovative products with legendary performance. The Winchester PDX1 Defender line is designed specifically for self-defense and features some of the most advanced threat-stopping technology in the industry.
Each of these factory fresh 9mm Luger (9x19 Parabellum) cartridges is loaded with a high-performance jacketed hollow point projectile. Weighing in at 147 grains, these proprietary bullets have a unique notched nose design that separates into sharp petals upon target impact. PDX1 projectiles carve a massive wound channel, expanding up to 1 ½ times the original bullet diameter. Winchester uses a patented bonding process to weld the copper jacket to the lead core, resulting in a bullet with excellent weight retention, deep penetration, and hard-hitting, threat-stopping energy transfer.
Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1000 feet per second, each round produces 326 foot pounds of muzzle energy. Featuring boxer primers and nickel-plated brass casings, these loads deliver smooth function while ensuring easy low-light chamber checks.
These loads perform well on demanding FBI test protocols, delivering incredible barrier penetration and terminal performance. These rounds are highly effective for personal protection in real world defense situation. Each package contains 200 rounds.
