200rds – 9mm Speer Gold Dot 147gr. JHP Ammo Details

There are jacketed hollow points, and then there is the Gold Dot. This 9mm cartridge by Speer features a 147 grain projectile that has been formed via the proprietary Uni-Cor process, which electrochemically united its concentric copper jacket with its alloyed lead core. With its core and jacket virtually incapable of separation, the Gold Dot bullet keeps an impressive amount of its weight intact even for having penetrated tough barriers like thick fabric, wallboard, and steel.

A Gold Dot is intensely reliable, as any ammunition for self-defense should be. The bullet’s nose cavity has been preprogrammed to expand devastatingly within its target, and its nose profile has been optimized for both accuracy and smooth feeding. This round further features a nickel plated brass casing which cycles through a semi-automatic like a breeze, propellant that doesn’t produce much of the muzzle flash that would blind a shooter in the nighttime, and a CCI primer that you can truly depend upon. Few rounds are better qualified to be loaded in your everyday carry!
