Ammo Inc. Streak 9mm ammunition is futuristic. It’s similar to tracer ammo in that each bullet creates light as it tears through the air – but the Streak bullet is not incendiary, does not produce heat, and has no more chance of starting a fire than any other jacketed hollow point.

It’s not voodoo. The Streak bullet’s base is coated in luminescent material which reflects red light when it is illuminated by muzzle flash. If you’re firing at an indoor range or in a dark environment, you’ll see the red light that traces your shots trajectories through the air. And because Streak technology only makes the bullet visible within 30º of the shooter’s point of view, the red light won’t point back to your position.

Without its luminescent coating, this cartridge’s bullet would be an otherwise normal 124 grain jacketed hollow point. The JHP’s notched jacket splits apart during penetration of soft tissue, which promotes the reliable terminal expansion that makes the JHP so effective for self-defense.
