200rds – 6.5 Creedmoor Winchester Super-X 129gr. Power Point Ammo

Winchester Ammunition 129 Grain Power-Point (PP) Ammo Details

This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Winchester features the Power Point, by far the manufacturer’s most popular hunting projectile for the past several decades. The bullet’s soft lead core is exposed at its tip, providing an aerodynamic meplat while at the same time enabling the bullet to expand very rapidly after the moment of impact. The Power Point’s concentric copper jacket guards it against deformation, prevents barrel leading, promotes certain penetration, and controls the rate at which its exposed core causes it to expand. It’s an economical bullet on top of all this, so you’ll be able to practice with this case of ammo in anticipation of your upcoming hunt without robbing yourself blind in the process.

These rounds’ casings are factory fresh brass, able to feed and extract flawlessly before they’re ready to be reloaded. A cost-effective Super-X round’s Boxer primer is still sensitive and non-corrosive, and its propellant is carefully loaded to deliver a consistent chamber pressure and muzzle velocity.
