This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge from Hornady’s Precision Hunter line of ammunition features a 143 grain ELD-X projectile. The bullet boasts several features which give it match accuracy, including its streamlined secant ogive profile, ballistic coefficient enhancing boat tail design, and nearly perfectly concentric AMP jacket. This bullet’s Heat Shield polymer tip further ensures that it will slice through the air because it will not warp when confronted with aerodynamic heating, so it will always maintain its acute meplat.

At lower velocity impact, its Head Shield tip drives down deeply within the bullet’s core to initiate rapid and devastating expansion.
