This round is armed with the 22 Mag’s classic 40 grain bullet, which screams out of Winchester’s 24” test barrel at a rate of 1,910 fps. The resulting trajectory is flat as a bartop, and reliably carries over 150 ft lbs of varmint-annihilating energy to 100 yards.
The jacketed hollow point is a bullet of many talents. Target shooting? Its not-too-fancy design won’t wind up costing you too dearly. Varmint hunting?
