1000rds – 5.56x45 Federal 55gr. FMJBT XM193 Ammo

Federal Ammunition 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJ-BT) Ammo Details

It doesn’t matter if you’ve got enough rifles to arm a whole platoon, or you just have one AR-15 that you’re not sharing. It only makes sense that you should have enough 5.56x45 on hand to fire all day if you’d like to, which is why we’re happy to have a whole case of loose-packed M193 ready for you in our warehouse!

This ammo was loaded by the U.S. "gummint’s" Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. It’s exactly what you’d find at Army rifle ranges and such, and its 55 grain bullet offers a flat trajectory and predictable ballistics for rewarding target shooting. The FMJBT bullet features a full metal jacket for reliable feeding in a semi-auto, as well as a tapering base to reduce in-flight drag.

The LAACP doesn’t polish their brass cases, because cosmetics don’t count for very much at an Army rifle range. That’s why these cases are still grayish, which is the product of their having been heated up to make them more supple and durable. This ammo is non-corrosive and nonmagnetic, just a solid choice regardless of what kind of rifle you have – AR-15 or otherwise.
