1000rds – 40 S&W Speer Lawman 165gr. TMJ Ammo

1000rds – 40 S&W Speer Lawman 165gr. TMJ Ammo Details

Everyone knows about California’s lead warning label. But did you know that lead can be bad for your health even if you don’t live in California? That’s why if you’re going to spend a substantial amount of time firing at an indoor shooting range, you would do well to invest in ammunition that limits your exposure to the very toxic heavy metal.

Speer designs their Lawman ammunition to virtually perfectly mimic the performance of their self-defense loads, but this 40 S&W cartridge has a 165 grain total metal jacket projectile that suits it perfectly for training – especially with its flat nose profile that punches a cleaner hole through a paper target. Unlike a run of the mill FMJ, this round’s TMJ features a jacket that completely encloses its base. That prevents hot propellant gasses from evaporating any of the lead in its core, promoting an altogether healthier environment in which to work on your aim.

Speer complements their clean shooting bullet with CCI’s ultra dependable and totally non-corrosive Boxer primer, as well as a charge of consistently loaded modern propellant. This round further offers a brass casing that’s so well made that you would be doing a disservice to the shooting community not to let it be reloaded!
