The 22 TCM was developed to deliver staggering muzzle energy out of the 1911 platform. It’s no coincidence that Armscor, whose Rock Island Armory manufactures tons of 1911s every year, is the caliber’s originator. If you’ve adopted the 22 TCM for personal protection and would like an affordable yet dependable round to do that job for you, then you’ve come to the right place.This round features a 40 grain jacketed hollow point projectile. The bullet’s copper sheath strengthens it for more certain penetration, and also to control the expansion that ensues courtesy of its nose cavity. This round’s brass casing (which is actually based on a 223 Rem parent case) is fresh from Armscor’s factory and accordingly both highly reliable and worthy of multiple reloads. Armscor’s propellant burns without depositing an action and bore in an overabundance of residues, and their Boxer primer is non-corrosive as well.
