This is .45 ACP Silver Bear 230gr. Full Metal Jacket Ammo. This ammo is manufactured by JSC Barnaul Machine-Tool Plant in Russia. The Barnaul plant is considered the premier ammunition plant in Russia, and they supply the majority of the ammo to the Russian military. This ammo is 100% non-corrosive berdan primed, steel cased, and new factory ammo. It has a zinc plated steel case so you will not get a lacquer build up in your pistol. This ammo is packed in 50rd. boxes.

Tried 500rds sliver bear steel case .45 and 500rds PMC brass case .45, they both work fine with my HK45. sliver bear left quite more carbon compared to PMC, but you know, cheap range ammo with few extra minute of cleaning, that's totally fine.

purchased 1k rounds of this ammo, have a ruger sr45, unfortunately the firing pin does NOT fire this round consistently. Brother in-laws 1911 fired the ammo flawlessly with i believe 1 bad round.
The ruger has a small firing pin and it does not seem to work with this particular ammo. It did not matter if it was rerun a second time , if the round did not fire the first time in the Ruger it didn't fire the second time, however the 1911 would fire the dimpled rounds every time. (thankfully i didn't waste my money (well at least the brother in-law gets good use of the ammo).
