The XTP is an extremely accurate jacketed hollow point thanks to its streamlined profile, virtually perfect jacket concentricity and balanced swaged lead core. The XTP’s jacket actually covers its rim, which serves a double purpose: smoother feeding, and more reliable terminal expansion. The XTP’s jacket is impressed with several skives, each of which strategically weakens the jacket so it splits apart in a symmetrical formation following impact. A drawn jacket which thickens toward its base guides expansion more dependably than a uniformly thick plated jacket ever could!
