This cartridge’s 125 grain jacketed hollow point bullet features a mechanically locked together jacket and core. They keep the bullet almost completely intact as it passes through thick clothing and even tougher barriers, so it can penetrate to the ideal depth as determined by FBI protocol. The JHP’s clog-resistant nose cavity reliably produces wide terminal expansion that injures the threat and lessens the risk of over-penetration.
