200rds - .223 Hornady LE 62gr. TAP Barrier Ammo

Hornady Ammunition 62 Grain Soft-Point (SP) Ammo Details

223 by Hornady LE 62 Grain TAP Barrier Ammo – 200 Rounds

Founded in 1949, Hornady has grown from a simple two-man operation to become a world leader in ammunition innovation. One of the most specialized cartridges ever developed, Hornady’s TAP Barrier ammo was originally engineered for nuclear power plant security, who needed a round with the ability to penetrate steel doors and deliver effective terminal performance on the opposite side.

This package contains 200 rounds of Hornady LE .223 TAP Barrier ammunition. Each round is loaded with a 62 grain TAP Barrier projectile, designed to maintain structural integrity while punching through barriers and still initiate reliable expansion in soft tissue.

This American-made, new production ammunition is non-corrosive and features boxer primers, temperature stable and flash retardant powders, and reloadable brass casings. Leaving the muzzle at 3075 feet per second with 1302 foot pounds of muzzle energy, these rounds are perfect for tactical situations requiring accuracy, barrier penetration, and soft tissue performance.
