1000rds – 5.56x45 Armscor 55gr. FMJBT M193 Ammo Details

Do you need a whole mess of 5.56x45 ammo? Hey – even if you arguably don’t need it, you can still order this 1,000-round case of bulk 5.56 by Armscor. It’s great for all your recreational shooting needs and it’s also great for prepping! Everyone should have at least a case of ammo on hand for rainy days.

Armscor doesn’t manufacture this ammo for the U.S. government, and it is not military surplus – but it is M193 spec, just like the 5.56 issued for field use with the Army’s M16 rifle. Its bullet is a 55 grain FMJBT: a full metal jacket to optimize smooth functionality and avert excessive barrel fouling in a semi-auto, and a boat tail to enhance the bullet’s ballistic coefficient. The tapered base mitigates in-flight drag to promote a flatter, more wind-resistant trajectory. The bullet is also nonmagnetic for compliance with certain ranges’ ammo policies!

Armscor’s modern machinery and ISO 9001 certification both mean the Philippine manufacturer produces strong and uniform brass cases, which are reloadable as soon as you’ve popped out their spent non-corrosive Boxer primers. You’ll want to save these rounds’ brass cases even if you don’t have a reloading press – someone else is sure to appreciate them!
This is loose-packed ammunition. One case holds two bags, 500 rounds apiece.
