20rds – 357 Magnum Heavy Buffalo Bore 125gr. JHP Ammo

20rds – 357 Magnum Heavy Buffalo Bore 125gr. JHP Ammo Details

Looking for powerful 357 Magnum ammo? Then it’s time to call in the heavy – 357 Magnum Heavy, that is. Buffalo Bore loads these extra strong rounds to extra high muzzle velocities, so you can deal even more damage to your target … as long as you don’t mind the extra recoil!

Let’s provide a little context. A Horandy American Gunner 125 grain XTP round has a muzzle velocity of 1,500 fps out of an 8” barrel (muzzle energy: 624 ft lbs). Despite sharing the same bullet weight, Buffalo Bore’s 357 Mag Heavy round has a muzzle velocity of 1,600 fps – out of a 4” barrel (muzzle energy: 710 ft lbs). And if you fire this ammo in lever gun with a 18.5” barrel, you can expect a muzzle velocity in the ballpark of 2,300 fps. Outstanding for the 357 Mag!

Here’s the best thing about this ammo: so long as your firearm can safely fire 357 Mag, then it can also safely fire Buffalo Bore 357 Mag Heavy. There’s just one precaution. This ammo is not recommended for light alloy revolvers. It will not damage those revolvers. It will simply produce so much recoil that the bullets will jump out of their crimping.
