80rds – 6.5 Creedmoor Hornady Match 147gr. ELD Match Ammo in Field Box

Hornady Ammunition 147 Grain ELD Match Ammo Details

Hornady thought out every minute detail of this 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge with a single goal in mind: tack driving accuracy.

This match grade load fittingly features a 147 grain ELD Match, a bullet with a polymer tip that can’t warp, deform, or otherwise part with any aspect of its perfect symmetry as air friction superheats it. Beyond the patented Heat Shield tip lies the ELD Match’s Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, formed in the shape of a ballistically efficient secant ogive. The bullet’s optimal boat tail curvature tips its ballistic coefficient to .697, letting it maintain a flat, wind resistant trajectory and supersonic velocity far beyond the 6.5 Creedmoor’s effective range.

A secant ogive bullet is sensitive to seating depth, but Hornady’s expert loading technicians saw to it that this round’s ELD Match is set perfectly into its select brass shell casing. Every Match load’s case possesses uniform dimensions and capacity to ensure optimal chambering and cycling, promoting even more consistent shot-by-shot performance. These rounds’ propellant charges are all carefully matched to create a steady, optimal chamber pressure as well. Hornady’s thorough quality assurance protocol permits only tight tolerances and superlative lot-to-lot consistency, so you’ll truly be able to predict how your shot will behave before you pull the trigger.

These 80 rounds come in a black polymer field box, making them all the more satisfying to store or plunk down next to yourself at the rifle range.
