800rds – 5.56x45 Winchester 62gr. FMJ M855 Ammo

Winchester Ammunition 62 Grain Penetrator Ammo Details

Finally: a whole case of the American-made 5.56x45 M855 ammunition you need when you’re TCB at the rifle range. Winchester’s penetrator loads are perfect for AR-15s and any other rifles chambered for the venerable 5.56!

This ammo’s FMJ bullets aren’t painted green for cosmetic purposes. Beneath the bullet’s gilding metal jacket sits a solid steel tip. The 62 grain bullet is a little heavier than usual, which slows down its muzzle velocity but also gives it better accuracy over longer distances. You’ll want a 1:9 or 1:8 barrel twist to witness the M855 round’s best accuracy for yourself!

This Boxer-primed cartridge features a fresh brass case. It’s still dark around the shoulder because Winchester didn’t buff the case up after strengthening it via heat-treatment. Perhaps most importantly, this ammo will attract a magnet. Not all indoor ranges are going to let you in with it, so please plan accordingly!

I'd fired my first shot of M855 ammo , never had a malfunction, my rifle ran flawlessly. Against the rules at my local range, it delivered the performance & exceeded all of my expectations.
