These 800 rounds of 5.56x45 are joined by M27 links. First developed for use in the Stoner 63 during the Vietnam War, such linked ammo later was later adapted for the M249 SAW and is now compatible with a variety of rifles. These links can be reassembled and reused, but you might want to play a movie in the background if you’re doing that kind of project.

Magtech’s 5.56x45 gives you authentic military performance. It’s an M193 like the standard issue for field use in the M16A1, made of a simple lead core with a gilded metal jacket. This caliber is available with more lethal bullets, but it would be kind of foolish to argue that this cartridge wouldn’t serve you in a fight -- especially if you’ve got 800 of them on a chain.

These rounds are packed in a steel ammo can, so they’ll feed smoothly within seconds of popping the lid. The first time you reuse the can, fill it up with these rounds’ new brass casings -- that’s a lot of treasure to just leave lying on the ground.
