7.62 NATO - 147 Grain FMJ - Winchester (Ammo Can) - 120 Rounds

Winchester Ammunition 147 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

7.62 NATO - 147 Grain FMJ - Winchester (Ammo Can) - 120 Rounds

Ideal for target shooting, this Winchester 7.62 NATO ammunition (mostly interchangeable with .308 Winchester) offers premium shooting at a less-than-premium price. These cartridges are manufactured at Winchester's main facility in Oxford, Mississippi. Using exacting specifications similar to those used in the production of military M80 ammunition, you can rest assured these rounds deliver reliable function and quality performance.

This ammunition comes packaged in a rugged and reusable plastic ammo can. Each can contains 120 cartridges and is suitable for convenient extended munitions storage.

Each round is loaded with a 147 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile. When fired, these bullets leave the muzzle at a velocity of 2800 feet per second with a powerful 2560 foot pounds of energy. This new production ammunition is non-corrosive and loaded in boxer primed, fully reloadable brass casings.

Only slightly less powerful than the .30-06 Springfield cartridge these rounds were designed to replace, 7.62 NATO delivers incredible long-range accuracy many rifle models, including the M-14, Remington 700, and Winchester Model 70 among others.

Ugliest ammo I ever paid good money for. The cases are scuffed and discolored. The crimp looks like it was done by a monkey with pliers. Seems to function reliably, but I'm always wondering if the next round will feed and fire. Maybe this is repackaged 50-year-old eastern bloc military surplus? If it was REALLY cheap I could understand. Federal, Fiochi, PMC and others have superior offerings at this price point - pick one. I will NEVER buy this ammunition again.
