600rds – 5.56x45 Hornady Frontier 62gr. SP Ammo

Hornady Ammunition 62 Grain Spire Point Ammo Details

Rough and ready to rumble -- a Frontier cartridge is built to tough out adverse elements and provide versatile performance that you can make as much use of at the range as you could in the field...or in your living room in the dead of night. This 5.56x45 round by Hornady features a 62 grain soft point projectile, so while affordable it still provides dependably effective terminal performance. This spire point bullet is highly streamlined as well, and therefore keeps a flat trajectory even after having covered very long distances.

This cartridge is loaded at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Missouri. It accordingly features an excellent new brass casing, as well as a military-grade Boxer primer and propellant charge. The primer is non-corrosive, and the propellant is temperature stable and clean burning, so they’re both highly reliable and gentler on your rifle’s action and bore in the long run.
