50rds – 9mm Speer Lawman RHT 100gr. Frangible Ammo Details
When you’re working on steel targets at an indoor range, are you worried about lead exposure and splash-back? If not, then don’t worry. You do you, man. But if you’d like to train the healthier and safer way, rest your peepers on Speer Lawman RHT 9mm ammo. That stands for “Reduced Hazard Training” – a promise its 100 grain bullet lives up to in two different ways. First, it is lead free, as evinced by its light weight and high resultant muzzle velocity. The heat of ignition won’t sear lead gas off the bullet’s base. Impact with a steel target won’t scatter lead around, either.
Impact with steel will reduce the bullet into grains and crumbs. That’s because it is frangible: made of copper and tin powders, which were formed into a hard mass without liquifying in the process.
Some people reckon frangible bullets are safer for home defense. To be sure, there are real-world tactical applications for frangible bullets, but we cannot promise one won’t exit the threat and continue on through several layers of drywall.
