50rds – 9mm Red Army Standard 115gr. FMJ Ammo

Red Army Standard 115 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This 9mm cartridge by Red Army Standard sports a conventional full metal jacket projectile. The hardness of the jacket lets the bullet feed reliably in a semi-automatic, and also avert the rapid accumulation of lead within a weapon’s bore that would have impacted its accuracy. At 115 grains it’s the lightest of the three commonly loaded bullets for its caliber.

What really sets a Red Army Standard cartridge apart from the crowd is its steel shell casing. Such a casing is significantly less expensive to produce than a brass one, and you’ll see that fact reflected in this round’s price tag. To prevent hard steel from brushing against the inside of your firearm, Red Army Standard coats their casings with smooth polymer. This round’s Berdan primer isn’t the kind that’s easy to replace during handloading, but it is reliable and furthermore non-corrosive so as to spare your chamber and bore from accumulating caustic residues.

This ammunition is made for Century International Arms' Red Army Standard label by the Tula Cartridge Plant in Tula, Russia.
