50rds – 9mm Blazer 124gr. FMJ Ammo

Blazer 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This 9mm cartridge from Blazer features a 124 grain projectile in a full metal jacket. Its rigid jacket does more than just help the bullet pass through plinking targets -- it further promotes smooth feeding, and also staves off the kind of rapid lead fouling in your weapon’s bore which would have negatively impacted its accuracy.

Its casing is this round’s distinguishing feature. It is made of heat treated aircraft grade aluminum, which in spite of its toughness is only about one third as dense as brass. That’s a difference you’re apt to notice, even when handling just this one box of ammo. Aluminum’s a whole lot cheaper than brass is as well, because it doesn’t contain valuable copper. That means this ammo’s perfect for enjoying an extended stay at the range, where ammo costs really start to add up. Note that such a casing isn’t reloadable, and that some ranges take issue with aluminum because it isn’t magnetic and thus hard to pick out of the scrap they like selling.
