Fiocchi Ammunition 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This 5.56x45 cartridge by Fiocchi features a 55 grain M193 projectile. Considered as the “vanilla” of 5.56 NATO bullets, the M193 is implemented for field use in the M16A1 rifle and is comprised of a gilded metal jacket wrapped around a lead alloy core. This bullet further features a boat tail design in order to heighten its ballistic coefficient. As the result it is much more accurate than its flat-based equivalent due to its improved resistance to wind drift, ability to maintain greater velocity downrange, and flattened trajectory.
