This 5.56 round by Black Hills features a 62 grain Dual Performance – a solid copper hollow point bullet. Because it is made entirely out of copper it preempts lead fouling of a barrel’s rifling, is totally nonmagnetic, and retains essentially the entirety of its weight as it tunnels deeply into soft tissue. The precision machined Dual Performance is also exceptionally balanced to promote great accuracy.

As the hollow point Dual Performance meets with resistance from soft tissue, it begins rapidly expanding to extend four knife-like cutting petals that track a wide, multi-faceted wound channel in their wake. Such deleterious terminal performance makes the Duap Performance a definitive choice for hunting varmints or home defense, and this round is even suitable for whitetail at relatively close range.
