Its 125 grain bullet sports a wide hollow in its tip, which along with the spiral cut serrations around its brim enables it to expand devastatingly within soft targets. The bullet’s jacket is made of cartridge brass rather than copper alloy, a harder material which enables it to burrow through several types of medium barriers en route to its destination.

This round’s brass casing is plated in sleek nickel, which promotes reliable cycling and makes it more visible in darkened environments.
