Target shooting should have exactly one outcome: you becoming a better shooter. It would ideally not include a risk of you getting injured. It would also not expose you to lead, which is a metal that has no known health benefits.

Winchester loads this ammunition with frangible bullets so you can exclusively reap the benefits of training – and none of the setbacks. The frangible bullet is tough enough to reliably feed and fire, but too brittle to withstand impact with a surface harder than itself. Upon slapping a steel target or similarly hard thing, the frangible bullet essentially disintegrates into granules and fine powder. It cannot bombard the firing line with shrapnel.

The frangible bullet is also devoid of lead (hence its very light 90 grain weight, and resultant extreme muzzle velocity). The boiling heat of ignition will not evaporate lead gas that can accumulate as fouling inside your firearm, or toxicity inside your body. It also won’t pollute an indoor range with smoke that builds up on the floor as residue.

This ammunition’s bullets are remarkable. Its brass cases, however, aren’t. That’s only to say they’re Winchester’s usual high-quality reloadable goodness!
