This target, training and plinking ammunition is loaded with budget-friendly full metal jacket projectiles. They aren’t easier on the wallet because they contain steel. They cannot attract a magnet. They do have thinner plated copper jackets, however, which is the only reason why you mustn’t fire them through a ported barrel, ported compensator, or any other ported muzzle device.

Lightweight 115 grain bullets also have a welcome effect on this ammo’s price tag. They are only just barely supersonic out of a 4” barrel. A shorter barrel than that is most likely to deliver the FMJs at subsonic velocity.
