This is the ONLY steel cased ammo I trust for use in the Ruger mini 30.
shoots true enough within the effective range of the round to ethically harvest animals if needed, and easily does a "minute of badguy" at 100yds , hits hard, and goes bang Every Time.
yes, brass cased boxer primed is better for our little ruger carbines...
and I have a decent stock of assorted good stuff.
but if you want to pile it deep for a rainy day
silver bear is good to go for the mini.
I suspect bernaul uses a softer primer in this round.
Wolf, tula, all the other inexpensive steel cased offerings I get a failure to fire rate of 25% in my rifle.

I ran four 20 rd mags of this Silver Bear thru my Mini 30 with no issues or problems! I have found the Brown Bear to run well too. ATG had the best price on the internet at time of purchase. Their excellent packing blows Cabela's packing away hands down! Good experience, will buy from ATG again :)

For practice and plinking ammo in bulk that will have good enough terminal ballistics if the need arises, you can't go wrong here. Accuracy out of my Arsenal AK was 2-3moa (magazine support only, better results from a true bench rest I'm certain). No feeding or firing issues, and not overly dirty (unlike Wolf) I'll pay the extra for Silver Bear, great ammo. (And the ballistics on the SP rounds are excellent for hunting).
