This ammo hails from the Czech Republic, where Sellier & Bellot operates the world’s oldest continuously operational ammo factory. They made this round’s bullet weigh 147 grains – a requisite for the United States’ M80 specification – and loaded it to a muzzle velocity of 2,521 fps. Sellier & Bellot’s FMJ is a steel-free projectile, and otherwise devoid of any other metal that could have made it attract a magnet.

Brass cases are always preferable for their smoother feeding, cleaner performance, and repeated reloadability. These rounds’ brass shells are charged by non-corrosive Boxer primers and low-fouling propellant, so you get to spend more time shooting and less time cleaning.
