This round’s projectile is just too heavy to break the sound barrier while it rockets down the barrel. Its 1,050 fps muzzle velocity means the bullet’s trajectory will exhibit more drop, but that’s the price you pay for the softest report you’re ever going to hear out of your 5.7x28mm pistol.
