These .44 Remington Magnum rounds are great medicine for handgun hunting or camp defense when you've got your sights sight on medium size deer and bear! These cartridges are assembled using a reloadable brass casing equipped with Winchester's own time-proven primer mixture and high energy magnum propellant. Each round is topped with a 240 grain jacketed soft point (JSP) projectile which offers startling velocity, flat flight characteristics, and relatively light recoil for the caliber.

Winchester has built this particular JSP bullet with curved ogive for easy feeding into a cylinder as well as a flat tip where the lead is exposed; this shape makes these rounds safe for use in a lever-action rifle where bullets meet primers within a tubular magazine. The projectile also has a toothed cannelure at its crimp point which prevents jostling, preserves accuracy, and helps retain weight for deep penetration into game animals.
