500rds – 308 Win Armscor 147gr. FMJ Ammo Details

Where is the 308 Win ammunition? That is a question which has plagued mankind for millennia (well, technically since 1952 at the earliest). We’re proud to have the perfect answer to it: right here.

This ammunition is created by Armscor of the Philippines, founded in 1905 and most famous for their Rock Island Armory 1911 pistols. Don’t load this 308 in a 1911, though – it won’t fit. Do load it in any 308 Win or 7.62x51 firearm you’ve got in your collection and you’ll be all set to punch holes out of targets all day.

This round is armed with a very simple 147 grain full metal jacket. It lacks a hollow point nose cavity, polymer tip or other feature that would have allowed it to gouge a wider wound cavity into its target. The FMJ’s hard gilding metal jacket prevents deformation inside the firearm, so you can count on smooth feeding and consistent accuracy while you’re launching an attack on bullseyes.

Armscor exclusively loads virgin brass cases which they make themself. Their Boxer primers are noncorrosive, their propellant is formulated to curtail fouling, and their ammo is reloadable.
