Do you know what we say to opening ten boxes of 22 LR ammo back to back just because we have a backlog of recyclables to shoot? We say “fiddlesticks” to that, please pardon our French. We’d much rather just pop open a big tube. That’s why we love SK’s Magazine ammo!This is good 22 LR ammo for fun at the range. SK didn’t spend some inordinate amount of time perfecting this round’s 40 grain LRN bullet’s accuracy on a molecular level. It’s simply a uniformly dense, symmetrically cast bolt of lead, with a convex nose profile that effectively parts whatever air it comes into contact with. Because it is loaded to a subsonic muzzle velocity this bullet won’t issue an irritating crack when it exits a rifle’s barrel, yet it still keeps enough energy downrange to kill most smaller varmints dead on the spot.
SK is a Scandinavian brand, so Minnesotans pretty much have to try it out at least once. The old company makes some pretty high-end 22 LR ammo as well, so it only follows that they’ll use the same straight-walled and uniformly drawn brass cases for their casual range loads. This ammo is non-corrosive – no one likes rust.
