This 300 Winchester Magnum ammunition came all the way from Czechia so you can hunt with a new twist on the classic soft point. This round’s bullet? It’s a soft point cutting edge.

Not “cutting edge” in the sense that it is very futuristic, mind you. It’s more literal. You see, this round’s 180 grain projectile has an unique profile. Its body is mostly shaped like a tube, which juts out a shoulder where it transitions to a more conventional ogive profile. That’s the cutting edge, which, true to its name, stamps out a wider, cleaner entry wound than a standard SP’s sloping profile is able to. Better yet, its cutting edge locks the SPCE’s core and jacket together to promote higher weight retention and the deeper penetration that follows.

Sellier & Bellot’s 0.353 G1 BC bullet tears out of their 23.5” test barrel at a rate of 2,936 fps. You’d be right to assume it’s not as aerodynamic as a standard SP, what with its shoulder and all, but the SPCE still (A) carries 1,000 ft lbs of energy to around 593 yards, and (B) stays supersonic until around 913 yards (assuming it hit its advertised muzzle velocity).
