400rds - 22 LR Browning Performance Rimfire 40gr. LRN Ammo

Browning 40 Grain Lead Round Nose (LRN) Ammo Details

Stand out from the crowd with these high-performance .22 Long Rifle rounds from Browning. Browning's ammunition is manufactured by Winchester in Illinois and made to exacting standards in order to live up to the Browning name. Each of these cartridges is built using clean-burning powder and a mercury-free priming mixture within a factory-rolled brass casing. The rimfire case is topped off with a lead round nose (LRN) projectile with an enlarged bourrelet which makes greater contact with barrel's rifling. This increases spin stability and accuracy for tighter groups and more confident zeroing.

Each LRN bullet bears a unique black oxide coating which cuts down on lead deposits, reduces friction in order to ensure smooth feeding, and helps to protect the ammo from distortion or corrosion while in storage. At 40 grains each, these bullets match a large amount of hunting, plinking, and sporting ammunition in the .22 LR caliber for consistent recoil and ranging with which shooters can build familiarity.

I have been shooting these rounds for the past several months at least once a week with my grand daughter (13 yrs old) getting her ready for this seasons '4H' shooting season in school.
I have found them too be very consistent with no misfires at all between us, shooting @ least 200 rounds each weak.
They do have a slight kick to them and a bit on the loud side even when wearing ear protection (shooting on and in-door range). My granddaughter has been able too in prove her groupings a great deal over last season, using other rounds.
