Each of these cartridges is built using clean-burning powder and a mercury-free priming mixture within a factory-rolled brass casing. The rimfire case is topped off with a lead round nose (LRN) projectile with an enlarged bourrelet which makes greater contact with barrel's rifling. I have been shooting these rounds for the past several months at least once a week with my grand daughter (13 yrs old) getting her ready for this seasons '4H' shooting season in school.
I have found them too be very consistent with no misfires at all between us, shooting @ least 200 rounds each weak.
They do have a slight kick to them and a bit on the loud side even when wearing ear protection (shooting on and in-door range). My granddaughter has been able too in prove her groupings a great deal over last season, using other rounds.
