30rds – 5.56x45 Winchester 62gr. FMJ M855 Ammo on Stripper Clips With Loader

Winchester Ammunition 62 Grain Penetrator Ammo Details

Here’s something fun you can do: Join the United States Army, and then refer to your magazine as a clip while you are within earshot of your drill instructor. He will appreciate the opportunity to help you learn!

Here’s some ammo that can help you appreciate what clips really are. This box of 30 rounds is divided across three clips, so you can load your magazine lightning fast. It even includes a spoon (for loading ammo, not for eating). But the clips aren’t even the best thing about Winchester 5.56x45 62 grain FMJ M855 ammunition!

This round’s bullet is known as the “penetrator.” The full metal jacket’s copper-alloy shell conceals a two-piece core: lead in the back, solid steel in the front. The bullet’s steel insert makes it tough enough to reliably bore through sheet metal at ranges in excess of 500 yards. And because the bullet weighs a bit extra, it excels at resisting wind deflection and retaining momentum downrange. Great if you’re looking for a little extra accuracy! (This is magnetic ammo.)

This is brand new noncorrosive ammo – not ancient corrosive milsurp. The brass cases do appear to be discolored, but they are assuredly factory fresh and not reloaded. Every 5.56 case is heat-treated to ensure it is supple enough for reliable operation. This ammo’s cases just weren’t polished up afterward, but that does not impact their performance or reloadability in any way at all.
