Federal’s most agreeably priced line of range and target ammunition is loaded to truly conventional specifications. The 230 grain full metal jacket and 830 fps (5” barrel) muzzle velocity have worked just fine for 45 Auto shooters for over a hundred years, and they’ll do right by you regardless of which hardware you’re firing.

That comes with a caveat. Although nonmagnetic, this round’s FMJ’s jacket is plated. All that really means is that it’s an inadvisable choice of bullet if your barrel or your muzzle device is ported.
