of meat on the front and 3 ish on the back we added 2 shirts t shirt sweatshirt and .125" leather and the expansion dropped to roughly .720ish with both the 9mm rem and the .45 hydrashock and the 9mm always went through but stopped in the 1.5" of plywood where the .45 rarely made it to our backstop through the clothing, so basically the 9mm G saber might go through a human target with clothing but won't have much left after the .45 wont so either way both calibers work but i'd take twice the rounds per mag.

I did some tests on a half rack of a cow, these 9mm golden sabers did more damage than a .45 hydrashock the largest diameter 9mm i recovered was .845" and the largest .45 recovered was .811" now thats not a big difference but the difference in recoil and initial cost and recoil ammo capacity is HUGE also the 9mm consistently went through the backstop 3 .5" plywood sheets and the .45 would stop short or just dent the first piece of wood 10ft the half rack, (its half a ribcage with maybe 8" of meat on the front and 3ish on the back plus thick ribs) I also tested the +p+ and didnt find a single 9mm to measure, Best defense ammo I can think of and clothing 2 shirts an thin leather did drop expansion down to about .725" on BOTH calibers with the 9mm penetrating deeper every time

Fantastic home defense round according to an independant ballistics test company the avg expansion of these the NON +P ammo is .780" and with some reaching .825" thats a larger diameter than most HP .45 rounds after expansion, these rounds do pack a punch and penetrate deep as well, the company that did the tests on expansion used 12x12x16" ballistics gel blocks and the rounds were all between 14" and falling out of the back of the block, Great stuff feeds well, i have the +p as well but carry the regular just because its easier to control one handed.
