This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge by Fiocchi features the MatchKing, Sierra’s preeminent target projectile. The MatchKing sports a boat tail design, the tapered base of which minimizes the drag it creates in flight and also raises its ballistic coefficient to give it a flattened trajectory. This bullet’s hollow point does not serve to cause expansion during penetration, but the extremely narrow meplat does much further streamline its profile. The MatchKing’s overall weight and thin jacket’s concentricity are both controlled for at scientific levels of measurement, giving it consistent performance that will prove of great value whether you’re competing or simply testing the extent of your marksmanship.This round’s relatively heavy 220 grain projectile serves to assure that its velocity will not break the sound barrier.
