Just target shooting? This ammo’s great for it, and its steel-free JHPs won’t lock you out of choosier gun ranges. Hunting coyote, or smaller game? That’s a great job for the JHP, which widens and breaks apart inside the animal in order to kill it extra dead. And because it weighs 45 grains – light – the JHP has a significantly higher muzzle velocity. It’ll cover more gound in less time, and display an overall flatter trajectory at closer range because of it. Easier aiming! Who doesn’t like it? That being said, the JHP’s lighter weight does coincide with faster loss of momentum, as well as greater vulnerability to wind interference (0.173 G1 BC).
