It’s going to keep any firearm’s barrel relatively cleaner courtesy of its copper plating, and it’s going to do extra damage to its target as it expands to transfer more of its energy outward.
This round’s bullet is a couple of grains lighter than usual. That helps it to reach a 1,280 fps muzzle velocity and deliver a flatter trajectory, so you may notice this round is easier to aim over longer distances than a subsonic load. With that muzzle velocity the cartridge also creates enough chamber pressure to make a semi-auto feed and extract on cue.
