There is no time like the present to buy 12 Gauge hunting ammo! But instead of pouring lead balls into its target, this handy-dandy Winchester Super-X shell releases a single behemoth 1 ounce projectile on its target! It’s a hollow point rifled slug, which is (A) equipped with the nose cavity it needs in order to achieve wide expansion, and (B) fluted to secure safe sailing through a shotgun’s choke.

This shell is a right powerful little piece of American-made explosive technology. Take aim to 50 yards and look on in awe as your target gets pounded with over 1,300 ft lbs striking energy. Drop another 50 yards downrange would be around 6”, which ain’t to shabby for a slug!

This shell does have some kick, but not too terribly much of it thanks to its wad. The plastic column has not one, not three, but two compression zones to facilitate rapid fire. Not an unsuitable selection for home defense!
