Fort Scott Munitions 235 Grain Solid Copper Ammo Details

You’re a futuristic kind of shooter – not just the sort of dude who embraces a cutting-edge cartridge like the 8.6 Blackout, but one who also understands the outstanding utility of a solid copper projectile. The latter lets you hunt wherever lead is banned! And it also produces the stellar accuracy and terminal ballistics that get the job done, whatever said job happens to be.

This round’s bullet is Fort Scott Munitions’ own invention. The Solid Copper Spun Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) is machined from a single piece of copper, and therefore possesses the sleek profile and perfect weight distribution which are both so essential to precision. Copper’s extraordinary toughness enables the TUI to plunge deeply through living tissue, which translates to the deep wound channel that quickly fells game and threat alike. And instead of widening out, the TUI spins around and around as it blasts through its target, gouging out a truly incapacitating wound channel in the process.

Fort Scott recorded this round’s muzzle velocity with a 12” long 1:3” twist barrel. They do not report its ballistic coefficient. It is loaded with a reusable brass case and large rifle magnum primer.
