The ELD Match was developed after Doppler radar testing revealed that standard bullets’ polymer tips get deformed by aerodynamic friction. The Heat Shield tip tolerates extreme temperatures without deforming, thus assuring that the ELD Match always points a perfect meplat toward its target. This round’s concentric AMP jacket, aerodynamic jacket geometry and optimally angled boat tail are all also in service of boosting its ballistic coefficient as high as possible.
