20rds – 7.7 Japanese Bannerman 174gr. FMJBT Ammo

Bannerman 174 grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJ-BT) Ammo Details

Japan and its allies dumped massive quantities of ammunition into the ocean after their great defeat. Does that mean you ought to fly to Japan, buy a diving suit, and go searching for free 7.7 Japanese (7.7×58mm Arisaka) ammunition off the coast of Minamisōma? No. We’re no ocean experts here at AmmoToGo.com, but we’re fairly certain that ammo’s no longer usable.

But do you know which 7.7 Japanese ammo is extremely usable, and completely untouched by lobsters? This very same Bannerman ammo you’re now looking at!

Bannerman doesn’t deal in military surplus. The subsidiary of respected Missouri brand Graf & Sons imports these target loads’ new, reusable, heat-treated brass shell casings and 174 grain projectiles from Serbia, where they were made by Prvi Partizan, and loads them in the U.S.

The bullets are full metal jacket boat tails, which contain no steel and attract no magnet, and have a relatively simple yet streamlined design that cannot initiate real terminal expansion. Kills varmints like Zeus’ lightning, but unsatisfactory for deer hunting.
